He is a researcher at Erciyes University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture (Turkey). His research interests focus on fruit breeding (conventional and molecular methods), molecular markers, plant tissue culture, evaluation and conservation of fruit genetic resources. He has improved and registered 3 seedless lemon varieties so far. He has published more than 120 scientific papers.
